About Issues, Events & Ideas
The newsletter, Issues, Events & Ideas, contains shorter, more practical items under the topics of issues, events and ideas. Issues might include the identification of current problems or concerns associated with implementing programs in schools together with some suggestions for solution. Events include notices and information about regional and provincial ECEC activities. Ideas include suggestions for classroom activities that successful ECEC teachers share with other ECEC members.
Issues, Events & Ideas is published three or four times per year. It is mailed to all members of The Early Childhood Education Council.
Articles from all educators are welcome. Classroom teachers, especially, are invited to consider writing about topics that interest them.
Photographs, line drawings, diagrams and poetry are welcome. To ensure quality reproduction, photographs should be clear and have good contrast. Drawings should be originals. A caption and photo credit should accompany each photograph. The contributor is responsible for obtaining releases for use of photographs.
